History and Environment
Totley All Saints Church of England Primary School has a history going back 170 years. it is situated on a greenfield site looking out over open countryside on the very edge of Sheffield. The first building on the present site was built in 1877.
In recent years the school has been extensively developed and amongst other projects we have added two classrooms, a library extension, new offices and foyer and four wheelchair ramps. Since June 2002 we have had a superb Infant block with secure outdoor play area for our youngest pupils.
We are fortunate to have school grounds that are a natural resource for Science, Geography and History. Our children have been involved in tree-planting, developing a pond and planting shrubs and flowers in our wildlife garden. In addition to their "outside classroom" the garden is a place for our children to enjoy peace and personal space.
